Briefing:

The PADI Open Water Diver course includes three simple steps. First, you’ll learn the essential theory—basic techniques, safety rules, and scuba terminology. Next, you’ll practice in confined water, getting comfortable with the equipment and mastering core skills. Finally, you’ll complete four open-water dives in the sea, where you’ll apply your training and explore the underwater world with your instructor. Once your open-water dives are approved, you become a PADI Open Water Diver, certified for life to dive anywhere in the world up to 18 meters.
